Casts of various objects with particular significance -  the interior of pillows which I've rested my head on, a drawer from the reclaimed bureau...

The pillows have been cast in plaster, which picks up the individual threads of the fabric and also the stitching which holds it together. I cast the drawer in concrete, as I liked the contradiction between the industrial material on the one hand, and the domestic object on the other.

These have recently been shown in a large installation as part of 'Summer 2009 - MFA Degree Show' at Newcastle University, where I was exhibiting for my interim exhibition. Installation shots can be seen here.
