Linear Shift: A new audio visual installation by Taryn Edmonds & Lauren Healey
Combining techniques from the artists’ backgrounds in documentary film and still photography, Linear Shift is an intimate and moving portrait of the North East’s changing industrial landscape. Whilst a visually photographic approach keeps the eye detached and observational, a highly choreographed three-dimensional soundscape playfully animates the film beyond the screen.
